Dhawal Majmudar is a seasoned vocalist, musician, and studio artist who has been captivating audiences across the San Francisco Bay Area for over a decade. As the founder and driving force behind Pancham Beats, Dhawal has led numerous live performances, bringing together the richness of Indian musical traditions with the energy and versatility of contemporary performance.
His repertoire spans an impressive range of genres, including Garba, Dandiya, Dayro, Bhajans, Indian Folk, Bollywood, and Ghazals, allowing him to connect with audiences across generations and musical tastes. Adding another dimension to his stage presence, Dhawal is also known for his entertaining voice impressions and impersonations—most notably his remarkably authentic rendition of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
Music has been an integral part of Dhawal’s life from an early age. Born into a family with a strong musical heritage, he began his formal training in classical tabla under the late Shri Kanubhai Majmudar, building a strong foundation in rhythm and Indian classical music.
His passion eventually led him deeper into Hindustani classical vocal music, where he trained in the tradition of the Mewati Gharana under Pt. Mukesh Desai, along with guidance from other respected gurus. This combination of classical vocal training, rhythmic grounding, and years of live performance has shaped Dhawal into a versatile artist equally at home with the intricacies of classical music, the emotion of a Ghazal or Bhajan, and the infectious energy of Garba and Bollywood.
