Arshad Ali Khan is one of the most sought-after vocalists of his generation. He was born into a family of senior Kirana Gharana musicians – his grandfather is the late Sarangi maestro Ud. Shakoor Khan, and he is the nephew of Ud. Mashkoor Ali Khan and Ud. Mubarak Ali Khan, under whom he trained in the guru-shishya paramparic tradition. He joined the Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata as a scholar at the age of six, and is currently a Guru at this prestigious institution. He is an A-grade artist for All India Radio and has won numerous awards.
Shreyas Ambikar has studied the Santoor under Pt. Dhananjay Daithankar, and is currently under the guidance of the Santoor maestro Pt. Shivkumar Sharma. Shreyas’s taalim in music began at the age of six – he has received vocal training from Pt. Harishchangra Gawahire and Smt. Alka Deo Marulkar, and studied under the Harmonium maestro, the late Pt. Appasaheb Jalgaokar.
