A midsummer night comes alive with the festive sights and sounds, tastes and textures of Indian culture! 

Join us on July 14 as we explore the food, music and art of India to celebrate the opening of "Epic Tales from Ancient India: Paintings from The San Diego Museum of Art."

6:00 pm - Austin's own DJ Nish will spin a Mumbai vibe to get things started.

7:30 pm - Anuradha Naimpally of Austin Dance India will dazzle with her classical Indian dance demonstration. 

8:00 pm - Award-winning world music ensemble Atash will share their "hypnotic and vibrantly danceable" sound. 

Featuring a sampling of Indian tastes created by
ChaiWalla, G'Raj Mahal, and Tarka Indian Kitchen, all brought to you by Edible Austin.

Blanton Museum members can enjoy an exclusive outdoor lounge, including a private cash bar with its own signature cocktail. Lounge activities will include henna art and decorating traditional diya lamps. Authentic décor and accessories from India will be provided by Ten Thousand Villages of Austin.

GUIDED TOURS OF "Epic Tales from Ancient India" are available at 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm & 7:00 pm. Sign up for a tour at the event and enter your name into the drawings for Museum Shop gift cards!
