Event Details Cary Diwali 2015 Saturday, October 10th, 2015 Venue: Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary, NC 27518 Gates Open at 10:00 am /Free general admission | Parking: $5 per car | Seating in front of stage available for a fee Cary Diwali 2015, “Mahotsav – a resplendent grand celebration”: At Cary Diwali, the inherent beauty, diversity and the vibrant culture of India are captured and reflected through performances on stage, exhibition, handicrafts and food. Come celebrate India and its incredible culture to get a greater understanding and appreciation of the Indian ethos. Hum Sub mission is to educate the social and cultural traditions of India with residents of the Research Triangle areas. This is done by promoting, supporting, and organizing family oriented events which are geared toward diversity awareness while helping to build a stronger foundation for our youth. Cary Diwali organized by Hum Sub, Inc. and the Town of Cary. Highlight of the Event:-Photographic Exhibition, Indian dance and music performances Handicrafts Bazaar, Delicious food from Indian sub-continent, Kids activities and Henna. Before, the conclusion to the evening with Fireworks, there will be musical performances by renowned musicians and vocalists from India: Kavita Krishnamurti, Ambi Subramanium and Shurjo Bhattacharya.
