CLOWES MEMORIAL HALL
Clowes Memorial Hall is the anchor of the Butler Arts & Events Center.
With 2,148 seats and a history of presenting artists dating back to 1963, the venue remains Indiana’s most versatile and professional performance space, having welcomed the world’s greatest talent and personalities—a star-studded list that ranges from poet Maya Angelou to the Crime Junkies Podcast; singer-songwriter John Prine to violinist Itzhak Perlman; comedian Bert Kreischer to Broadway’s Book of Mormon; singer-songwriter Sir Elton John to Mystery Science Theatre 3000 Live… and many more artists in between.

PARKING INFORMATION FOR THE BUTLER ARTS & EVENTS CENTER VENUES IS LISTED BELOW.
CLOWES MEMORIAL HALL, SCHROTT CENTER FOR THE ARTS, LILLY STUDIO THEATRE, EIDSON-DUCKWALL RECITAL HALL:
Patrons can park in the Sunset Avenue Parking garage, located in the 4700 block of Sunset Avenue, between 46th and 49th street.
Access the garage from Sunset Avenue.
For most events, there is a $10 event parking fee.
During the day, the garage is open with a standard rate structure.
Guests requiring accessible entry can park on the main floor of the garage or in the Clowes lot on the northeast side of the building.
SHELTON AUDITORIUM:
All Shelton Auditorium patrons can park in the two lots located at Butler University’s South Campus.
Access the Parking lots off of West 42nd Street or Haughey Avenue.
Patrons requiring accessible parking should park in the 42nd Street lot as it is a shorter distance to the auditorium.
If coming from the Haughey Avenue parking lot, Patrons can walk through south campus inside or cut through the outdoor courtyard.
If parking in the 42nd street lot, patrons will walk down the path to the north of the building to the outdoor courtyard.
There is signage in both locations showing patrons where they should go.
Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at Clowes Memorial Hall for all self-park & valet lots.
Regular Hours - Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, weekend hours vary per event. For event box office hours, please visit Clowes Memorial Hall event tickets can be purchased through Sulekha.
Ticket Requirements: For all ticketed events, all Clowes Memorial Hall patrons must present a ticket for entry, except for those patrons younger than two (2) years of age. However, children under two years of age must sit on the lap of an accompanying ticket-bearing adult. For some family/kids events ages, one (1) and up must be accompanied by a ticket.
The Clowes Memorial Hall, as a rental facility, is not in a position to contact or interfere with artist or artist management regarding autographs or special meet and greet requests. From time to time, artist management will arrange these opportunities, and if available, the Clowes Memorial Hall will include that as part of standard event information.
The use of photographic or sound recording devices, including film and digital cameras, digital video recorders, cell phones, and/or other visual or audio recording devices is a violation of copyright law and is strictly prohibited. Patrons using these devices during a performance may be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be issued. In certain instances, patrons may be asked to delete photographs.
In addition, light and noise disturbances can hinder the enjoyment of any performance. Out of the consideration and safety of performers and fellow patrons, the use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
