Farzand - Marathi Movie

This historical movie is a tribute to the hero of the Maratha empire — Sardar Kondaji Farzand who was Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s brave follower and disciple of great Tanaji Malusare.  Sardar Kondaji Farzand tries to conquer the fort of Panhala from the mighty claws of the Adilshahi empire and against all odds but find out what happened.

The movie shows leadership of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, his beliefs, morals, values, concern for women’s safety and trademark war strategies like ganimi kawa (guerrilla warfare). 

Ankit Mohan as Farzand, Chinmay Mandlekar as Shivaji Maharaj, Prasad Oak as Bahirji Naik, Ganesh Yadav as Tanaji Malusare, Mrunmayee Deshpande as the feisty Keshar and Mrinal Kulkarni as the eternal Jijamata; all have said to create a big impact to educate us more about India's and Maharashtra's great history.
