About this Venue

Hawthorn Middle North is a great place to be! There are plenty of clubs, activities, and sports for kids to get involved in before and after school. ALL are welcome! We are confident your 3 years at MSN will be filled with memories you'll have forever.

During the 2022-2023 school year we had award winning science olympiad and math club teams. We are proud of our state winning athletic teams. We offer a variety of clubs that include garden club, jazz band, scholastic bowl, chess club, newspaper, student council, broadcasting, musical theater, and more!

We have students enrolled in both algebra and geometry. Our dual language program, which includes dual language social studies and Spanish literacy is offered to our 6th-8th graders. Spanish I and II are offered during 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Those students that have advanced the 8th grade curricula receive differentiated instruction.

There are 6 ENCORE rotations offered throughout the school year; art, music, health, Project Lead the Way and math. We also offer band, orchestra and chorus. CORE academic classes include language arts, math, science and social studies.

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at Hawthorn Middle School North for all self-park & valet lots.
