About this Venue

We are involved in conducting regular community programs and festivals, youth development programs (including at Rutgers University), systematic presentation and application of Bhagavad-Gita in personal life, and many more!

ISKCON of Central New Jersey shares the message of Srila Prabhupada and the Bhakti Yoga tradition with the community of Central New Jersey.

The Sunday Festival, Science of Bhakti-Yoga, Krishna Kids Program, Dramas, Dance, Pure Vegetarian Cuisine, Samskaras, Home Gatherings, and Japa Conference are just some of services offered by us.

We aim to make the new temple facility offer a spiritual university for systematic study of Bhakti-Yoga, an educational institution to encourage spiritual and moral values for children and youth, a yoga center to share the art of mantra meditation, and much more!

Temple Schedule

Mangala-arati is the first temple ceremony of the day. It begins at 4:30AM and is considered mangala, or ‘auspicious’ for all who participate. The devotees sing beautiful prayers glorifying the spiritual master and the Hare Krishna maha-mantra in Srila Prabhupada’s Samadhi, and then go to the temple room to chant Vibavari Sesha, a song by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura glorifying Lord Krishna. This includes worship of the deities and the sacred Tulasi plant.

Sringar Arati

After the Deities have been worshiped in private, They give Their audience (darshana) to the devotees and the public, who then can see the shrine and offer worship and prayers. This is accompanied by a recorded singing of the Govindam prayers of the Brahma-samhita.

Guru Puja

At this time, as members of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness we offer our obeisances to Srila Prabhupada as the instructing guru for all devotees. We are eternally indebted to him for single-handedly bringing Krishna to the Western world and thus giving everyone the opportunity to become a lover of God.
During the guru-puja, the devotees sing prayers glorifying the spiritual master and offer flower petals and obeisances at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada. Then we take Srila Prabhupada on parikrama of the temple accompanied by harinama sankirtan.

What are the parking options at ISKCON of Central New Jersey?

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at ISKCON of Central New Jersey for all self-park & valet lots.
When is the box office open in ISKCON of Central New Jersey?

Regular Hours - Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, weekend hours vary per event. For event box office hours, please visit ISKCON of Central New Jersey event tickets can be purchased through Sulekha.
Are children allowed ISKCON of Central New Jersey?

Ticket Requirements: For all ticketed events, all ISKCON of Central New Jersey patrons must present a ticket for entry, except for those patrons younger than two (2) years of age. However, children under two years of age must sit on the lap of an accompanying ticket-bearing adult. For some family/kids events ages, one (1) and up must be accompanied by a ticket.

Can I get an autograph or meet the artist in ISKCON of Central New Jersey?

The ISKCON of Central New Jersey, as a rental facility, is not in a position to contact or interfere with artist or artist management regarding autographs or special meet and greet requests. From time to time, artist management will arrange these opportunities, and if available, the ISKCON of Central New Jersey will include that as part of standard event information.
Can I take event photos or videos in ISKCON of Central New Jersey?

The use of photographic or sound recording devices, including film and digital cameras, digital video recorders, cell phones, and/or other visual or audio recording devices is a violation of copyright law and is strictly prohibited. Patrons using these devices during a performance may be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be issued. In certain instances, patrons may be asked to delete photographs.

In addition, light and noise disturbances can hinder the enjoyment of any performance. Out of the consideration and safety of performers and fellow patrons, the use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
