About this Venue

Shaublin Auditorium, built in 1970 and totally renovated in 2005, is a treasured jewel of the Lakeview Public Schools and the community of St. Clair Shores. School assemblies, music concerts, drama productions, educational forums, town hall meetings, awards and graduation ceremonies are all well served at Shaublin Auditorium. Staffed by former and present students of Lakeview, Shaublin Auditorium is the perfect mixture of culture and functionality showcasing the talents of the district’s students as well as giving students a hands-on perspective of stagecraft.
Featuring 1538 seats, Shaublin Auditorium can host just about any type of event. The proscenium opening is 50 feet wide by 39 feet deep with a 12 foot apron downstage of the plaster line. The auditorium also features over one hundred twenty state-of-the-art ETC Source four ellipsoidal lights, assorted moving wash lights, controlled by an ETC “ION” console, 32 Channel Allen and Heath GL2400 audio console, a twenty-four channel Sound craft audio console with EQ, 16 Sennheiser lavalier and 4 handheld wireless microphones, assorted wired microphone suited for speaking, singing and use with instruments, Crestron Presentation cart with multi-media options….

What are the parking options at Lakeview High School?

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at Lakeview High School for all self-park & valet lots.
When is the box office open in Lakeview High School?

Are children allowed Lakeview High School?

Ticket Requirements: For all ticketed events, all Lakeview High School patrons must present a ticket for entry, except for those patrons younger than two (2) years of age. However, children under two years of age must sit on the lap of an accompanying ticket-bearing adult. For some family/kids events ages, one (1) and up must be accompanied by a ticket.

From time to time, artist management will arrange these opportunities, and if available, the Lakeview High School will include that as part of standard event information.
Can I take event photos or videos in Lakeview High School?

The use of photographic or sound recording devices, including film and digital cameras, digital video recorders, cell phones, and/or other visual or audio recording devices is a violation of copyright law and is strictly prohibited. Patrons using these devices during a performance may be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be issued. In certain instances, patrons may be asked to delete photographs.

In addition, light and noise disturbances can hinder the enjoyment of any performance. Out of the consideration and safety of performers and fellow patrons, the use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
