The Marines’ Memorial Theatre is an intimate 564-seat jewel box theatre located in the heart of San Francisco's theatre district between Union Square and Nob Hill. Our historic San Francisco venue was built in 1926 to bring the best national, international and local Music, Dance, Author Talks & Lectures and theatrical/film presentations to Bay Area audiences. Our theatre is a well-known resource for local corporate and civic groups along with charitable organizations.
Our San Francisco venue has hosted a number of legendary performances, including Stomp!, Angels in America by Tony Kushner, Forever Tango, Camino Real by Tennessee Williams and Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. In addition to acclaimed live performances, the Marines’ Memorial Theatre is also used as a venue for speakers, presentations, corporate events, celebrations and more.
