Event DetailsPAPANASAM SIVAN SONGS COMPETITION Siva Punya Gana Mani Brahmashri Papanasam Sivan's birth anniversary is celebrated every year in countries like Singapore, Malysia, Australia,Sanjose, LA, Germany, London, France, Norway, Denmark for the past 6 years. This year it will be celebrated at Houston, Detroit, Dallas, Chicago and many parts of USA. We will be conducting competitions on songs of Papanasam sivan on Vocal,Violin, Veena,Flute,keyboard, Mridangam, Bharathanatyam on 6th Aug 2011 from 8A.M to 6PM at Houston Meenakshi temple, Upper assembly hall,17130,Mclean Road,Pearland,TX 77584-4630 . There will be individual singing on 7th Aug 2011 at the same place and from 9AM and from 1pm there will be concerts by talented artsists from Houston like Shilpa Sadagopan,Kriti Bhatt and many others. There will be a concert by Papanasam Ashok Ramani at 3pm. Music and dance teachers will be honoured and prizes will be distributed between 5pm and 6pm at the same venue.
