Shri Ram Mandir

Shri Ram Mandir, is one of Canada’s leading Temples is providing exceptional quality service in the form of Spiritual guidance and Cultural preservation. We are a federally registered Charitable Organisation that has been in existence for over 18 years.

Located in Mississauga Ontario, one of Canada’s most exquisite cities, the Temple attends to the needs of over three thousand (3,000) families.

Under the Guidance of Pt. Roopanauth Sharma, Founder and Spiritual Leader, Shri Ram Mandir has attracted worshippers from Geographical locations such as India, Fiji, Mauritius, South Africa, Guyana, Trinidad, Suriname.

A Humble Beginning.

Every Organization, Business or Corporate entity has humble beginnings. Shri Ram Mandir was no exception. Pt. Roopnauth Sharma, having displayed remarkable leadership qualities in his community, coupled with his simple interpretation and presentation of Religion, was approached by various members of the Hindu Community to establish a Temple under his leadership. The establishment of Shri Ram Mandir was a dream fulfilled for Hindus in the City of Mississauga, since, an organization that focuses on development of youths and promoting Hinduism as it relates to the current century was long anticipated. For many years, the Temple operated in a Unit complex on Timberlea Blvd in Mississauga. In the year July 2001 the current structure was built.

We have fully equipped cooking and dining facilities to accommodate over four hundred persons per session.

Youth Group.

Our Vibrant youth group helps promote awareness of Hinduism, and is extremely active in community work. They have gained tremendous eminence through their annual Food Drive and Blood Bank Activities. Where is the Ram Mandir?

What are the parking options at Ram Mandir?

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at Ram Mandir for all self-park & valet lots.
When is the box office open in Ram Mandir?

Regular Hours - Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, weekend hours vary per event. For event box office hours, please visit Ram Mandir event tickets can be purchased through Sulekha.
Are children allowed Ram Mandir?

Ticket Requirements: For all ticketed events, all Ram Mandir patrons must present a ticket for entry, except for those patrons younger than two (2) years of age. However, children under two years of age must sit on the lap of an accompanying ticket-bearing adult. For some family/kids events ages, one (1) and up must be accompanied by a ticket.

Can I get an autograph or meet the artist in Ram Mandir?

The Ram Mandir, as a rental facility, is not in a position to contact or interfere with artist or artist management regarding autographs or special meet and greet requests. From time to time, artist management will arrange these opportunities, and if available, the Ram Mandir will include that as part of standard event information.
Can I take event photos or videos in Ram Mandir?

The use of photographic or sound recording devices, including film and digital cameras, digital video recorders, cell phones, and/or other visual or audio recording devices is a violation of copyright law and is strictly prohibited. Patrons using these devices during a performance may be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be issued. In certain instances, patrons may be asked to delete photographs.

In addition, light and noise disturbances can hinder the enjoyment of any performance. Out of the consideration and safety of performers and fellow patrons, the use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
