About this Venue

The Theatre at Raritan ValleyCommunity College opened in 1985, with a mission to serve RVCC and the community at large. The theatre complex is made up of two performing spaces, the Edward Nash Theatre which seats one-thousand on two levels and the Welpe Theatre which seats one-hundred to one-hundred-fifty. Each season, The Theatre presents the Major Artists Series, the Merck International Series -made possible by a grant from the Merck Company Foundation, the Sunday Sampler, a series of programs for children and their entire families, and School-Time Performances, a series of educational fieldtrip events.

The theatre offers RVCC students, faculty and staff a fifty-percent discount on up to four tickets for each event it presents. This discount is limited to one-hundred tickets per performance, so it is recommended that you purchase early to assure your discountand to obtain the best possible seating.

A current RVCC email address gives you on-line access to the RVCC Student/Faculty/Staff discount on the theatre website:www.raritanval.edu/theatre/. If you don't have an address, come to the box office (Mon.-Fri, 11-4) and present valid RVCC ID to make your discount purchase.

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee.
