Sacramento Telangana Association details

STA is formed on April 24th 2014 with a core group of 50 people who volunteered and donated to form the organization and celebrated the newly formed 29th state in India. Within weeks the members and supporters grew in hundreds and we did our first event Telangana Formation Event on June 2nd 2014 and served Telangana specialty food imported from Hyderabad, India. We had over 550 attendees and 25+ sponsors.

Our second event ‘Bathukamma and Dasara’ celebrated on September 28th drew more than 1200 attendees and set a new record as no regional association could do till date. This was a free event to promote ‘Telangana’ culture, got ‘Jammi Chettu’ and performed pooja by a priest. The ‘Bathukamma’ was carried for immersion by Assemblymen ‘Ken Coolie’ to the specially approved lake by Rancho Cordova Mayor Dan Skoglund who are some of the dignitaries that attended the event. Bathukamma was played American and Indian Women like never done before in the Greater Sacramento region and people had one comment that the event was OUTSTANDING and reminded back home in Telangana state.

The third event was Ladies Night for Charity for which over 300 women attended and we got the top anchor Ms. Anasuya. The proceeds were donated toWEAVE INC and the details are in charity section.

Yes, you can add multiple sessions to your events while setting up your online event.
Can I limit the number of tickets available to each person?

Yes! As an organizer, Sulekha gives you the flexibility to decide the number of tickets available to a single customer and any information you want from the customer while setting up your event.
Can I easily share my event's page?

Absolutely! On your own event detail page, you will find social media icons that will enable you to share your event directly on different social media sites.
How do I know who has arrived at my venue event?

Sulekha’s free iOS and Android apps are easily available on App Store and Play Store to download. This can be used to check guests in and has a built-in scanner that will allow you to scan tickets upon entry. This will automatically mark your guests off as arrived for reporting purposes.
How do I edit my event after it has been published?

Even after publishing your event, you can log into your Sulekha profile and go to your event dashboard to edit your event.
What payment options do you accept?

We accept both Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards.
Where can I get a report of my event?

Once your event is published and starts booking go to your Organizer dashboard and then Reports to view detailed reports and analytics of your attendees, orders, and tickets. You can view them from your account or export them onto your device.
Can my event page and my profile reflect my company’s branding?

Yes! Sulekha gives you the flexibility to customize your event in accordance with your desire. You can also customize your organization profile in line with your company’s profile. Upload company banners, and logos in respective fields while setting up your event and organization profile to reflect your company’s branding.
