Yuba City Nagar Kirtan 2019

The Yuba City Annual Sikh Parade is a Nagar Kirtan commemorating the Gur Gaddee, or the inauguration day of Siri Guru Granth Sahib, as the everlasting guru of the Sikhs.

Yuba City Annual Sikh Inauguration Festival Events Schedule:

Friday:
7 pm Kirtan Darbar followed by fireworks.
(Langar will be served and Vendor Bazaar will be open)

Saturday:
9 am Raising of Nishan Sahib Sikh flag followed by kirtan.
10 am Bazaar open for shopping
6 pm-Midnight rahen sabaee kirtan.

Sunday:

10 am Bazaar open for shopping
11 am Guru Gadee Nagar Kirtan Annual Sikh Parade. Floats and devotees led by Guru Granth Sahib parade along a 4 1/2 mile loop through the streets of Yuba City. Sikh Martial Art Gatka will be performed by California Gatka Dal.

Events are open to the public. Langar served throughout the weekend. Times and some events are subject to change.
