What is Swayamvar? an ancient Indian tradition where all suitors and suitresses come to one venue and meet each other.

TORONTO's 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY - Mega Mega launch of Swayamvar in 2017 and will bring in 30 to 50 people - all singles. Bigger and different event you have not seen in the city!

Event schedule
An informal introduction - To learn about participants and so that you know who is who. Everyone will receive sheets with biodata of each person (who has allowed to share their info). Make notes.
Think now who you like!
GROUP 1 - Ages 26+ will get to attend event at 3 p.m. - 26 - 35 Time 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Group 2 - Ages 30 + will get to attend Round 1 & 2 - Time - 5:15 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
Round 1: Each table will have 1 guy and 1 girl - You talk to each other on a ice breaker question. This will be only for 3 minutes. Guys will then move to the next table. An activity will be given to all of you to solve / or answer a question (open ended questions - where would you like to go on a vacation?)....This breaks the ice and you get to know each other.
Round 2: MATCH MAKING ROUND - Choose only 2 people of the opposite gender - you really want to talk to before they leave. Let organizers know we will announce it.
BREAK - will be from 445 pm to 515 pm
GROUP 2 - Ages 30 + ( no upper limit)
People who participated in Group 1 will participate in Group 2 if age 30+
Round 1: Each table will have 1 guy and 1 girl - You talk to each other on a ice breaker question. This will be only for 3 minutes. Guys will then move to the next table. RULES:
1) Respect the organizer's time they have brought in people for you to meet. Don't rush us!
2) If you do not have 5 hours on this Saturday - don't buy the ticket. Only come if you think your partner search is important.
3) Saturday is a great day as it is a weekend and people fly down from various parts of Ontario to meet these Singles. Respect their time and money spent as well as yours. We will have a web conference 1 week before this event starts.
4) Food will be appetizers - eat and drink alot of water
5) don't ask stupid questions like "will you be ok to be intimate before marriage" We will not tolerate such questions
6) Do not walk around when the rounds of intro / or match making are going on
7) Guys will move only and they have to move when the bell rings
8) Round 1 and Round 2 for each group are mandatory. If you participate you will STAY TILL THE ROUND 2 is FINISHED
9) If you do not move to the next table - you will be removed from the event. You will not be able to participate anymore. This is a fair policy so that everyone gets to meet each person.
Time: Please make sure you have 5 hours in your schedule that day of the event. You want to make most out of it. You don't want to say to yourself " I liked that girl I wish I had more time".
