Ashwin Srinivasan Biography

shwin Srinivasan is a professional flute and sitar player based out of the capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai. Born in a family of musicians, Ashwin was attracted to Indian classical music when he was just two years old. He started learning sitar from his mother. But he took a fascination for the 'bansuri' (bamboo flute) at the age of seven and since then there was no looking back! He learned the techniques of bansuri from Shri Pundalik Shenoy and Shri Venkatesh Godkhindi. He has also trained under legendary violinist, Padmabhushan Dr Smt N Rajam, in Mumbai. He has won a lot of praises and accolades as a child prodigy, and today, he is the most sought-after flutist in Mumbai.
