The Scoop:

Two Austin-based organizations - The Amala Foundation (a humanitarian organization assisting global youth) and Wobeon WorldBeatOnline (a music company focused on promoting global music in Austin and beyond, and created WobeonFEST - Austin's first major World Music Festival) teamed up to raise funds from the community at large through an Indiegogo campaign to help stage this Concert for Peace in Austin to mark the International Day of Peace. The concert features a vibrant roster of local and international musicians with the goal of uniting the diverse cultures and peoples of Austin, while raising awareness of issues of global importance to Austinites.

Help us usher in the International Day of Peace, and help Austin do its bit for peace.
