Meeting Space
Our Center’s flexible space consists of four exhibit halls, two ballrooms and 31 meeting rooms that can be configured in a variety of ways to meet the needs of any group. The size and layout of the Conference Center make it possible to host one large event or multiple, smaller events at the same time. Our versatile facility is designed to offer the perfect space for conferences, trade shows, meetings and other events.
Location
The Greater Ft. Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center is the country’s premiere waterfront conference facility. Architecturally designed to take advantage of its location, the Convention Center is nestled on 17 acres of land adjacent to Fort Lauderdale's prized Intracoastal Waterway. A 2,500-space parking garage is connected to the Center via two enclosed, air-conditioned skywalks. The building is a five-minute drive from the airport, within walking distance of many local hotels, and less than one mile from Fort Lauderdale's famed Blue Wave beaches. With its year-round pleasant weather, Fort Lauderdale is the ideal location for your next meeting, convention, tradeshow or event.
LEED Gold Certification
The Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center is proud to be the first convention center in Florida to earn LEED certification and the third nationwide to achieve LEED Gold for an Existing Building. From water conservation to energy efficient lighting, recycling and more, the Convention Center is an energy-efficient, environmentally sound, carbon neutral model of sustainability.
