F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre is a 446-seat facility for the performing arts used primarily by community theatre groups and professional touring companies. The facility is operated as a rental venue for both public and private events. Corporate presentations, award ceremonies and other types of events are welcome.
Location:
The theatre, located in Rockville Civic Center Park, includes plenty of free parking. It is one mile from the Rockville Metro station and a few blocks off Route 28 in the heart of Rockville.
Facility Features:
The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre features a large lobby and the Social Hall which is an event room on the lower level. The 40 x 30 stage is supported by a green room and two dressing rooms.
Namesake:
The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre is named for the celebrated author because he often visited Rockville and is buried here in Rockville.
