Join us as we proudly celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Kerala Association of Greater Washington (KAGW) with Thiranottam 2025, our grand Onam celebration like never before!

This year’s festivities begin with the adrenaline-filled KAGW Golden Jubilee Ever-Rolling Trophy – Tug of War Competition, kicking off promptly at 8:30 AM. The day unfolds into a vibrant mix of tradition, culture, community, and joy.

Highlights of the Day Include:

• Cultural Spectacle
  Be mesmerized by classical and folk performances including:
  Kathakali, Ottanthullal, Mohiniyattam, the majestic Mahabali Ballet, and a breathtaking Mega Thiruvathira.

• Pookkalam Competition
  Witness vibrant floral designs that capture the spirit of Onam.

• DMW Arts & Crafts Festival
  A colorful showcase of creativity by local artists and children.

• Grand Onam Sadya
  Enjoy a traditional multi-course Onam feast served on banana leaves — a culinary journey to Kerala!
