Hello Everyone,

The MMA 2018 Executive committee would like to cordially invite you all to the Makar Sankranti event on January 27th. This year we bring you a unique musical entertainment program “Olya Sanj Veli”. In addition, we have an attractive Vaan for the ladies and Bor-nahan for kids plus a Kite making competition (details below). To top it all off, we have delicious dinner lined up and for our little kids (under 12), hot and cheesy pizza will be served.

Date: Saturday, January 27, 2018
Time: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Venue: Archer High School, 2255 New Hope Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30045

Kite Competition: Build your unique kite, be creative and let your imagination soar (kite-making tutorial, kite-kits). All kites will be displayed at the venue on the day of the event for everyone to celebrate your creations. The best kite will win a prize. Submit your entries for participation by signing up using the link by January 14th. Kites must be dropped off by January 20th at drop off locations. Kite dimensions: 8.5” x 8.5” up to 24” x 24” (kite must be within the given dimensions, not necessary that it should fly)
