About this Venue

Ocee Park Athletic Association (OPAA) sponsors youth T-Ball and Baseball programs for boys and girls ages 4 to 16 years old. Since our founding in 1993, OPAA has enjoyed many years of recreational and competitive baseball. We offer multiple levels of play in many age groups and welcome all into our program. OPAA leagues play and practice at Ocee Park (a City of Johns Creek park) located on Buice Road in Johns Creek, GA. OPAA's Board of Directors, managers, coaches and many others are volunteers who are dedicated to OPAA's vision and mission.

Chartered under Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth League™, OPAA follows the rules and regulations established by Babe Ruth League™ for baseball. According to the charter from Babe Ruth™, Ocee Park's league territory is Northeast Fulton County. This territory includes the zip codes of 30005 (the portion in Fulton County), 30022 (in its entirety), 30097 (in its entirety), and a small portion of 30024 (the portion that lies within Fulton County).

PHILOSOPHY The philosophy of OPAA is to provide a recreational program and multi-level competitive program for the boys and girls in our geographic area. The focus of our program is toward teaching skills, promoting good sportsmanship and having fun. OPAA believes there is great value in teaching boys and girls of all ages the values and rewards of competition all within a framework of good sportsmanship. Many youth sports programs today de-emphasize competition but OPAA feels that this does not prepare our youth adequately. The overall competitiveness of the program increases in the older divisions, but the general OPAA philosophy applies to all age groups.

BASEBALL The OPAA baseball program is organized in several divisions and leagues. The divisions and leagues are based on the age and/or skill level of the player.

TEE LEAGUE 4-5U (TEE/COACH PITCH) The T-Ball program is for 4-5 year old boys and girls. In this program, coaches pitch to players and a hitting tee is used as needed. Teams are randomly assigned and there is no skill assessment or draft. No standings are kept in this league and there is no end of season tournament.

What are the parking options at Ocee Park?

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at Ocee Park for all self-park & valet lots.
When is the box office open in Ocee Park?

Regular Hours - Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, weekend hours vary per event. For event box office hours, please visit Ocee Park event tickets can be purchased through Sulekha.
Are children allowed Ocee Park?

Ticket Requirements: For all ticketed events, all Ocee Park patrons must present a ticket for entry, except for those patrons younger than two (2) years of age. However, children under two years of age must sit on the lap of an accompanying ticket-bearing adult. For some family/kids events ages, one (1) and up must be accompanied by a ticket.

Can I get an autograph or meet the artist in Ocee Park?

The Ocee Park, as a rental facility, is not in a position to contact or interfere with artist or artist management regarding autographs or special meet and greet requests. From time to time, artist management will arrange these opportunities, and if available, the Ocee Park will include that as part of standard event information.
Can I take event photos or videos in Ocee Park?

The use of photographic or sound recording devices, including film and digital cameras, digital video recorders, cell phones, and/or other visual or audio recording devices is a violation of copyright law and is strictly prohibited. Patrons using these devices during a performance may be asked to leave the theatre. No refunds will be issued. In certain instances, patrons may be asked to delete photographs.

In addition, light and noise disturbances can hinder the enjoyment of any performance. Out of the consideration and safety of performers and fellow patrons, the use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
