Event Details We are delighted to invite you for Pon Maalai Pozhudhu- An Evening filled with Music Saturday, June 29 in Jain Center Auditorium, 722 South Main Street, Milpitas, CA 95035. Playback Singer and Carnatic musician Charulatha Mani will be performing her signature Isai Payanam Show followed by a light Music show by Vijay TV supersinger Sathyaprakash , Pragathi and Charulatha Mani. with Divya Mohan on Violin and Natarajan Srinivasan on Mridangam The show is a fundraiser for Akshaya Trust which was founded by Mr.Narayanan Krishnan who was selected as the CNN Top 10 Hero in 2010. He has been feeding mentally challenged homeless people in the streets of Madurai for more than 10 years. Recently his dream of building the Akshaya Home to house these people came true and it was inaugurated on May 9. Please find attached the first month anniversary photo from Akshaya Home where they have housed most of homeless mentally challenged people in the streets of Madurai. They have started giving them rehabilitation and medical care. It is really amazing to see that photo and the wonderful efforts of Akshaya Trust. Please find attached the flyer for the event details.
