FOG India Day 2025 – A Grand Celebration of Freedom, Culture, and Community in Fremont

This annual celebration marks India’s 78th Independence Day and invites people of all backgrounds to experience the vibrance of Indian heritage right here in the Bay Area.

Two Grand Events, One Unforgettable Day

1. FOG India Day Parade 2025

Location: Fremont, CA

Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Guest appearance by special celebrity Bhagyashree, Bollywood’s iconic actress from Maine Pyar Kiya

2. FOG India Day Mela (Festival) 2025

Location: Paseo Padre Pkwy, 39439 Paseo Padre Pkwy, Fremont, CA - 94538

Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Kickstart the celebration with the FOG India Day Parade, a dynamic and colorful procession that showcases India’s diversity and cultural richness. Featuring:

Stunning floats representing Indian states, associations, and organizations

Live traditional dance and musical acts along the parade route

Community groups, school bands, and cultural ambassadors                             

Following the patriotic parade, the celebration continues with the FOG India Day Mela — a lively cultural fair packed with fun for the entire family. Highlights include:

Special performance and appearance by Bollywood star Bhagyashree

Live stage shows with classical and contemporary dance

Indian food stalls offering mouthwatering regional delicacies

Ethnic fashion and jewelry stalls, arts and crafts vendors

Kids’ entertainment zones, cultural contests, and more

The Mela is a vibrant reflection of Indian culture in all its glory — offering an experience that is both traditional and festive.
