Indian Classical Music Concert By Pt. Rajan & Sajan Mishra And Suman Laha

Padma Bhusan Pandits Rajan-Sajan Mishra are  the foremost exponent of Banaras Gharana and recipients of Padma Bhushan in 2007, Sangeet Natak Academy Award, jointly in 1998, the Gandharwa National Award for 1994-1995 and the prestigious National Tansen Samman 2011-2012. Their music is marked by an unequally reposeful exposition of the raga balanced with aesthetic tension generated through delicate handling of rhythm. 

Suman Laha is a well known name in world of  Indian Classical Music. He was trained in the purest Senia Gharana by the eminent Master, Pt. Shyamal Chattopadhyay .Suman’s forte is the Indian Classical Guitar and also the Veena’s smaller version. He is an exceptional musician maintaining the Dhrupad style, specializing and enjoying performing in the ancient Dhrupadi taal. As a music teacher at Cerritos Music Circle, Suman continues the old Indian tradition of “Guru Shisya Parampara”, and his teaching style and professional demeanor have endeared him to his students.
