Shri Krishna Janmastami At The Hare Krishna Temple

Celebrate the earthly appearance of Lord Shri Krishna! Be a part of this 5,000 year old Vedic tradition authentically celebrated in East Dallas at the Hare Krishna Temple.

As part of the live entertainment internationally acclaimed kirtan singer Gaura Vani will be singing. He was born in LA to parents who were living as monks in the Hare Krishna Temple. At an early age,he went to Vrindavan,India to study at the gurukula or traditional temple school. Its there that he learned the art of kirtan, and how to play Indian traditional instruments such as the mrdanga,harmonium,and kartals. Gaura Vani performs regularly at eclectic venues like private homes, theatres, mandirs, yoga studios as well as festivals like Lollapalooza, Bhakti Fest and Wanderlust.
