About this Venue

Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple is a Hindu temple located in Ijamsville, Maryland, in the United States. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, who is also known as Anjaneya. Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple is one of the few temples in the United States that is solely dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

The temple was founded in 1999 by a group of devotees who wanted to create a space where they could worship Lord Hanuman. The temple's main deity is a 21-foot-tall statue of Lord Hanuman, which is made of black granite and was sculpted in India.

In addition to the main deity, the temple also has shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, and Goddess Durga. The temple offers a range of services and activities for devotees, including daily puja (worship), weekly satsang (devotional gathering), and special events to celebrate Hindu festivals.

Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple also has a community hall that can accommodate up to 200 people. The hall is used for cultural and religious events, as well as for community gatherings and celebrations.
