About the Teacher: Pandit Balmiki
Sharma grew up in Bihar, India, studying ancient Vedic science about the mind,
meditation, and Self-realization from saints and scriptures such as Vedas,
Upanishads, Bhagavad Geeta, Dhammapada, Guru Granth Sahib, and the Bible. He
has a PhD. in Indian classical music and a Masters in Hindi literature with
focus on religious studies. He will be joined by his talented students who have
been learning Indian classical vocal music from him for over a decade.
This event is hosted by SHAKTHI, a
501(3)(c) non-profit organization with a mission to educate, empower and uplift
the communities it serves, with art, culture, and spirituality. Please spread
