Background & Early Life







  • Birth & Roots: Born on July 14, 1993, in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Sameera discovered her passion for music at a very young age, taking up formal training as early as the second grade.













  • Classical Training: She possesses a strong foundation in classical music, having trained deeply in both Carnatic and Hindustani classical traditions under respected gurus, including Sri Ramamurthy in Chennai and the legendary Nedunuri Krishnamurthy in Hyderabad.













  • Education: Balancing her artistic pursuits with academics, she earned a degree in commerce while aggressively building her musical career.















Career Breakthrough & Reality TV



Sameera first stepped into the public spotlight through television. Her exceptional vocal prowess and range led her to become a runner-up on the popular music reality show MAA TV's Super Singer Season 8 in 2015.







The widespread recognition from the show paved her way straight into the South Indian film industry (Tollywood). She officially debuted as a playback singer that same year (2015) with the song "I Love You Too" from the film Shivam.

Known for her smooth, melodic texture and adaptive vocal style, Sameera has sung for some of the biggest music directors in the industry, including S.S. Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, Mickey J. Meyer, and Ghibran.
