Arjun Adapalli Biography
His training began at the age of 7, when he started learning both Carnatic music under Chitravina N. Ravikiran and Vishal Sapuram, as well as Western Classical Piano. He performed his debut Carnatic concert or Arangetram at the age of 12.
Since then, Arjun has won various local and national singing competitions in the USA. He was a 3-time member of the Texas All-State Choir in High school, and then the winner of many intercollegiate music competitions in his undergraduate years at UT Austin. He was also the title winner in the popular ETV music competition “America-lo Padutha Theeyaga,” hosted by music legend SP Balasubramanian, in 2013.
With his increased popularity, Arjun went on to give many stage performances across the USA, singing songs of various Indian languages. He has also released music videos with “acapella" covers of popular Indian and American songs. His most recent accomplishment was ranking 6th in Vijay TV's Airtel Super Singer 5 in 2016.
