On August 22, 1959, (the border between the solar signs of LEO and VIRGO), Vatsala Patil was born in a straightforward middle-class family in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Her father is currently a hotelier and is originally from Maharashtra. A musical family of three brothers and one sister make up her extended family.
She grew up in a typical family. In Vadodara, she completed her high school and college education. Vatsala Patil was a gifted child who was raised in a sporting milieu and spent much of his time dribbling a hockey stick. Hockey was taken seriously and gained prominence at the age of 15.
