Samanvitha Sharma is a multifaceted Indian artist renowned for her contributions to the Kannada film industry and the broader South Indian music scene. Her talents encompass playback singing, classical dance, music composition, and anchoring.
Early Life and Musical Training
Recognized as a child prodigy, Samanvitha began rendering complex keerthanas at the age of three. Her mother, Smt. Rohini, nurtured her early musical inclinations. She received formal training in Carnatic music under Ganakalashri Smt. M.S. Sheela and later pursued Hindustani classical music with Pandit Vishwanath Nakod. In addition to her musical pursuits, she trained in Bharatanatyam and Kathak dance forms.
Academic and Professional Background
Academically accomplished, Samanvitha completed her engineering degree with distinction and initially embarked on a career as a software developer. However, in 2008, she chose to dedicate herself entirely to the arts, marking the beginning of her full-time artistic journey.

Samanvitha has established herself as a prominent playback singer in the Kannada film industry, contributing to over 20 films. Notable songs include "Male Banthu" from the film Jessie and "Hey Kila Kila" from Madamakki. Beyond playback singing, she is a multilingual and multigenre performer, classical dancer, music composer, vocal coach, and celebrity anchor.
