Nasir Khan Biography
Nasirr Khan, also known as Nasir Khan or Nasir Kazi, is an Indian actor and director, and the son of the legendary Bollywood comedian Johnny Walker (Badruddin Jamaluddin Kazi). Born on January 14, 1969, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Nasirr has carved out his own identity in the entertainment industry, independent of his father's iconic legacy.
Early Life and Career
Nasirr began his career in the mid-1990s, initially appearing in television commercials and later transitioning to films and television serials. He made his film debut with Betaaj Badshah (1994) and has since acted in several notable films, including Baghban (2003), Wazir (2016), and The Lunchbox (2013). His television work includes appearances in shows like Aashirwad, Woh, Kkusum, Kesar, and Shubh Laabh – Aapkey Ghar Mein.
Personal Life and Philosophy
Despite being the son of a celebrated actor, Nasirr has emphasized his desire to succeed on his own merits. He has mentioned in interviews that many people are unaware of his lineage, a fact he believes his father would have appreciated, as it reflects his independent journey in the industry.
Nasirr took a hiatus from acting to work in a multinational corporation for seven years, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability. He later returned to the entertainment field, continuing to take on diverse roles in both television and film.

In 2024, Nasirr appeared in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, marking a significant return to mainstream projects.
